Registration for the FIWC Qualifying event at Gamerbase Manchester is now open. The event is being held at HMV on Saturday the 22nd of January.
It’s free to enter, but you will need a Gamerbase account to sign up, which you can do here.
As with the Edinburgh event the set up is 5 minutes per half, no custom teams and no custom formations, group stages followed by a knockout bracket.
The winner snags a place at the UK live final, which takes place in London in April (date tbc).
Season 1 of the FIWC qualifiers finished recently with HeroLampard ranking 1st overall and a_reallygoodnoob taking the top uk spot. You can track the progress of season 2 here.
